All travelers to Socotra must obtain a special Yemeni visa, which is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Embrace Socotra simplifies this process for you. Simply provide us with a copy of your passport, and we will handle the Yemeni Visa process. You will receive the document one week before your departure, you just need to print it and have it on you when you arrive.

The best time to visit Socotra

The ideal time to visit Socotra is from October to April, avoiding the rainy and cyclone seasons, ensuring you experience the most agreeable climate. During this period, the weather is warm and dry, with average temperatures ranging between 28-30°C (82-86°F). Evenings can be cooler so we advise bringing an extra sweater.
This season offers the perfect conditions to enjoy all that Socotra has to offer : camping, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, diving, dolphin watching, trekking and many other activities.
