ALI

Ali is the founder Embrace Socotra. With many years of experience as a guide, he will make your journey unforgettable by listening attentively and customizing each itinerary to suit your tastes perfectly.

ERICA

Erica fell in love with Socotra Island on her first visit. She now manages our social media and website to keep you well-informed. Fluent in French and Italian, she can join your trip to translate, if you don’t speak English.

SAAD

Saad is a young guide and our right hand (and left, to be honest). He lives in Hadiboh with his family. He knows the island inside and out, knows how to share its beauty, and is kind, flexible, and simply a special person.

KHALID

Khalid is one of our skilled drivers. He lives in Hadiboh with his wife and two young children. He has been driving with tourists for many years and he can take you to the most remote locations Socotra has to offer.

AHMED

Ahmed, is from Salmohan, in the middle east of the Island. He has a wife and two beautiful daughters. He is one of our cooks and is very kind. He is the best cook on the island and always ready for a good laugh.

FAYASEL

Fayasel was born in Danb, in Socotra and now lives in Hadiboh with his children. He has been driving tourists around for many years and has a lot of experience. With his kindness and fun he will definitely make you smile.

NAZEM

Nazem is a remarkable person who has lived in Hadiboh with his family for many years. He is not only a skilled driver but also an expert engineer. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a complex repair, Nazem can handle any issue.

AHMED

Ahmed, a long-time resident of Hadiboh, where he lives with his family. He loves cars and is an accomplished engineer. If the car encounters any issues, Ahmed has both the skills and the knowledge to fix everything.

MOHAMED

Mohamed is one of our guides from Daksm, the Dragon Blood Trees’s region. Young, experienced, professional, kind and smart, with his many anecdotes, he will provide you with plenty of informations.

SALEH

Saleh lives in Hadiboh and has been driving with tourists since his teenage years. He has three children. He will drive you to the most beautiful places and he is a good dancer.

AHMED ABU

Ahmed Abu Sultan is a cook and a driver. He lives in Dishes, a region in the Middle East of the island, with his eight children. He is kind, funny, and professional and his cooking is amazing
